Statistical Process Control

Introduction

bullet

Have you implemented Statistical Process Control (SPC)?

bullet

Are your operators using SPC effectively?

bullet

Are you using the right control chart?

bullet

Are you operators making the right interpretations?

bullet

Can you hold the gains of your quality improvements?

SPC (II) can track and hold the gains from quality improvement activities. This course has a practical hands-on approach in numerical computation for manufacturing or service. This course enables the delegates to understand the use of variable (Precontrol, X-bar R) and attribute (d, p, c and u) data. They will also learn of the implementation, interpretation and use control charts.

Benefits Of Attending The Course

The course enables the delegates to:

bullet

Monitor a process to ensure quality proactively.

bullet

Identify sporadic problems in products and processes.

bullet

Prevent unnecessary tweaking of processes already in control.

bullet

Perform capability studies to target improved capability.

bullet

Stop blaming operators for poor quality when a process is incapable.

Who Should Attend?

SPC is used to monitor drifts in process so that proactive action can be taken. It will be most appropriate for those involved in Marketing, Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, Production and Service. Teams are encouraged to attend for maximum benefit.
