Industrial Research & Development Grants

Introduction

With the Malaysian economy set to grow persistently, the Government acknowledges that it is vital for research and development activities to increase in tandem. Hence, various promotions to enhance and nourish R&D capabilities in the country have been introduced. Since 1988, the Government with the support of the  Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, has initiated a centralized grant system of financing science and technology research in public institutions and research agencies. In addition, it has also implemented various researches and technology development activities through its agencies.
