Process Tree

Process Tree:

This section shows the different production process in the tree level.

Schedule By Process

Schedule by Process:

This page shows the Process Tree crossed with the schedule type (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly, Yearly) with a schedule calendar.

Schedule Type :

The Schedule Type is set in the iCT-M: Setup: Machinery: PM Periods. The user can add any (reasonable) maintenance period. Too many irregular periods may cause more clutter in the TPM page.

When a Schedule Type data cell is clicked, e.g. Daily, the appropriate Checklist Template Details appears. Here, the user can manage Checklist Versions, its effective From Date and To Date as well as View or Edit a checklist.
A View of a checklist is shown here.
The Schedule Calendar shows an equipment and its next planned maintenance. If a Weekly maintenance coincides with a Yearly maintenance on the same day iCT-M allows both (or more) maintenances to be shown on the same date. When the date is clicked, the user can choose to go to any maintenance.

Details By Process

Details By Process:

When a cell is clicked, a dialog opens to show the number of maintenances scheduled. The user can click on the required maintenance link and open the details of that maintenance.

Shown here is an example of a maintenance template. The user can create individual templates for different equipment.
These templates have a feature that disallows a user to edit a file once it is submitted. If any spare parts are used, iCT-M provides a simple method of tracking the quantities of spares available. Future versions of iCT-M may be enhanced to provide a full spare parts maintenance system.

Break Down By Process

Breakdown By Process:

The Breakdown By Process page shows all the equipment breakdown status. It allows the user (say an Operator) to click on any cell in the calendar schedule.

When a cell is clicked, it opens up a dialog box as shown here. The Operator Request For, i.e. machine type, is recognized automatically and the Breakdown At date is recorded automatically. The Operator identifies his/her name from the dropdown list and enters Comments regarding the type of equipment problem encountered. When the Operator clicks the save button, the machine down instance is recorded. If the company has a maintenance vigilance, iCT-M would immediately reflect the distress in a display at the maintenance control center.
The status seen by the chief maintenance engineer is now a yellow Bd or breakdown message. When a technician clicks on this cell, the following page appears.
This page alerts the technician remotely that the machine as identified and submitted by the Operator has a breakdown. When the technician acknowledges the breakdown, i.e. Technician Noted, the technician has to click the calendar (and time) icon to accept the date and time and identify his/her name in the Technician dropdown box.

The technician's knowledge of the breakdown is recorded. Even if the technician's assistance is not quick, the loss time can be known from the time the Operator submitted the breakdown request.

When the technician Submits the page, the next action is triggered.

The Technician Report is now initiated. The technician then clicks on the calendar icon to record the Repair Start date and time, Repair End date and time, identify the technician from the dropdown box and fill the Comments.

Once the page is save, the next step is initiated.

This step consists of entering spare parts that were used. The Spare Parts list file is itself in iCT-M: Setup: Method: Spare Parts.

Break Down Details By Process

The Breakdown Details By Process:

This page shows all the breakdowns of the equipment for the selected date range.

When a breakdown cell is clicked, the details of the breakdown is shown as follows.

This page shows the breakdown of an equipment to the nearest 15 minute interval.

Break Down Calculations By Process

Breakdown Calculation By Process:

iCT-M shows several the machine indices including the

  • MTTD
  • MTTR
  • MTBF
  • Availability
  • Pre Average Delay
  • Post Average Delay

Schedule By Equipments

Schedule By Equipment:

The Schedule By Equipment will be a page relevant to individual technicians who need to see only their own areas of interest. Selected groups of equipment identified in the Select Equipment Type dropdown box will be displayed as necessary.

Details By Equipments

Details By Equipment:

The Details By Equipment works much like the Breakdown By Process above except that it allows a smaller list of equipment to be displayed. This is useful for technicians who need to attend to a smaller set of equipment than the full Process Tree of equipment.
