Six Sigma Green Belt Training

Six Sigma Green Belt Training

Course Objective

Gain an understanding of the Six Sigma DMAIC problem solving methodology.
Develop Six Sigma culture by deploying the DMAIC methodology in their day-to-day job.
Successfully complete and manage improvement projects in their respective areas.
Guide Green Belts and support Master Black Belts on high impact cross-functional projects.
Interact with all levels of an organization.

Benefits of attending this course

Gain an understanding of Six Sigma: DMAIC Process Improvement Methodology. Delegates can implement the Six Sigma culture by practicing the methodology in their day-to-day job activities. Delegates can successfully complete small scale improvement projects in their respective work areas .Green Belts can support Black Belts and Master Black Belts on high impact cross discipline projects. Over time and experience the Green Belts can become Black Belts and Master Black Belts. This training will enable the delegates to develop the communication skills necessary to be an active member of a Six Sigma team. The delegates are hand held towards Six Sigma deployment at the floor level.

The Green Belts learn how to identify critical quality issues and business processes that fail to deliver the expected customer quality at the lowest cost to the organization. Green Belts will learn how to be part of a Six Sigma project, and support the team through:

  • Implementing problem solving methodology
  • Reduce non-value added activities and costs
  • Improve customer satisfaction
  • Reduce defects
  • Increase profit margins
  • Encourage management by fact
  • Improve economic competitiveness of the organization

The training will be conducted using iCT-M ® software. The delegates will have the benefit of using the software free for 30 days.

Who should attend?

This course applies to anyone who will be part of a Six Sigma process improvement project team. Operator, line leaders, technicians, engineers and managers from process, quality, operations, manufacturing and production would greatly benefit from this course. Personnel from the public services, logistics, education, hospitality industry, biomedical, healthcare, sales, purchasing and service sectors too will find this course most suitable to them.
