Hypothesis Testing Software

Hypothesis Testing software - Hypothesis Testing is a set of tools and techniques for statistical decision making

Hypothesis Testing - Roadmap for Six Sigma, APQP and TQM projects

This software module consists of the following templatized tools and techniques:
  • Z-Test The Z-test is a hypothesis test that compares the mean of a sample data to a population data. A Hypothesis Testing - Z-test is used for answering questions about the mean where the data are a random sample of independent observations from an underlying normal distribution. A Hypothesis Testing - Z-Test is appropriate when the sample size is greater than 30 (otherwise use a t-Test). For convenience
  • t-Test 1 Sample A one sample t-test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the mean where the data are a random sample of independent observations from an underlying normal distribution. For convenience
  • t-Test 2 Sample A two sample t-test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the mean where the data are collected from two random samples of independent observations
  • t-Test Paired A paired t-test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the mean where the data are collected from two related samples of independent observations
  • Proportion 1 Sample A One Sample Proportion test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the proportion where the data are a random sample of independent observations from an underlying normal distribution. For convenience
  • Proportion 2 Sample A Two Sample Proportion test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the proportion where the data are collected from two random samples of independent observations
  • Anova 1 Factor The one way Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) allows the comparison of several groups of observations of a given factor
  • Anova 2 Factor The one way Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA) allows the comparison of several groups of observations of a given factor
  • Chi-Squared GOF The Hypothesis Testing - Chi-Square Goodness of Fit is used to test if a range of values and the corresponding occurrences (or probabilities) of those values have a good fit.
  • Chi-Squared TOI The Hypothesis Testing - Chi-Square Goodness of Fit is used to test if a range of values and the corresponding occurrences (or probabilities) of those values have a good fit.
  • Levene Levenes test is used to test if samples are from populations with equal variances. Equal variances across samples is called homoscedasticity or homogeneity of variances. Some statistical tests
  • Correlation t-Test A correlation is a single number between -1 and +1 that describes the degree of relationship between two variables. This applet tests for a significant Correlation using the t-Test.
  • Regression t-Test A regression analysis is a statistical process for estimating the relationship among variables
  • Intercept t-Test The Intercept (viz. y intercept) is the point at which a line crosses the y axis. The intercept is the solution to the equation when x = 0. This applet tests for a significant Intercept using the t-Test.
  • Chi-Squared 1 Sample A Two Sample Proportion test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the proportion where the data are collected from two random samples of independent observations
  • Chi-Squared 2 Sample A Two Sample Proportion test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the proportion where the data are collected from two random samples of independent observations
  • McNemar Test A Two Sample Proportion test is a hypothesis test for answering questions about the proportion where the data are collected from two random samples of independent observations
  • Likert Scale The Likert Scale applet is used to study several dimensions in a questionnaire instrument. Ratings are based on Likert Scale which is a type of rating scale used to measure attitudes or opinions. With this scale, respondents are asked to rate items on a level of agreement. For example: Strongly Disagree. Disagree, Neutral, Agree and Strongly Agree.
  • Non Hypothesis The Non-hypothesis applet allows the researcher to track a descriptive part of a research that does not require a statistical hypotheis testing.
  • EDA-Normality In statistics, exploratory data analysis (EDA) is an approach to analyzing data sets to summarize their main characteristics, often with visual methods. A statistical model may or may not be used. EDA is primarily to see what the data show beyond the formal modeling or hypothesis testing task.
  • Wilcoxon Sign Rank The Wilcoxon signed-rank test is the nonparametric test equivalent to the dependent t-test. This test does not assume normality in the data
  • Bartlett Bartletts test is used to test if samples are from populations with equal variances. Equal variances across samples is called homoscedasticity or homogeneity of variances. Some statistical tests
  • Mann Whiteny U-Test Mann-Whitney U test is the alternative test to the independent sample t-test. It is a non-parametric test that is used to compare two population means that come from the same population
  • Kruskal-Wallis Kruskal-Wallis Analysis of Ranks
  • Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test is a statistical test for the relative size of the scores of the same or matched subjects under two experimental conditions by comparing the distributions for positive and negative differences of the ranks of their absolute values.
  • SEM-Partial Least Squares The partial least squares path modeling method to structural equation modeling allows estimating complex cause-effect relationship models with latent variables. It is a component-based estimation approach that differs from the covariance-based structural equation modeling.
  • Application Hierarchy Process Application Hierarchy Process is a structured technique for organizing and analyzing complex decisions, based on mathematics and psychology. This applet allows the user to conduct a the analysis.
