AST - Advanced Statistical Techniques

AST software - Advanced Statistical Techniques is a set of advanced tools and techniques used to control productivity and quality

AST - Advanced Statistical Techniques - Roadmap for Six Sigma, APQP and TQM projects

This software module consists of the following templatized tools and techniques:
  • Frequency Chart A Frequency Chart is used to monitor and maintain defective levels within a margin of acceptable levels based on supplier and customer agreed quality levels.
  • Acceptance Sampling Online Quality Control is an advanced method of quality assurance by inspection based on the minimum cost of quality. The minimum cost of quality is calculated on inspection frequency
  • Online Quality Control Online Quality Control is an advanced method of quality assurance by inspection based on the minimum cost of quality. The minimum cost of quality is calculated on inspection frequency
  • Constant-Wear Constant - Wear Phase is the reliability phase when the failure rate can be expected to be constant.
  • Product Relibility Studies Dominant Failure Pattern is a technique for establishing the failure pattern of products. The technique can determine if the product failure pattern is early failure
  • Sampling by Code Acceptance Sampling is a statistical method of establishing the lot acceptance based on a sampling scheme and a set of rules for making decisions. Sampling by Code is based on a deriving a Code based on the lot size and levels of risk acceptable to the producer and consumer.
  • Single Sampling Plan Acceptance Sampling is a statistical method of establishing the lot acceptance based on a sampling scheme and a set of rules for making decisions. Single Sampling Plan allows the determination of a sampling plan based on the lot size and levels of risk acceptable to the producer and consumer.
  • Double Sampling Plan Acceptance Sampling is a statistical method of establishing the lot acceptance based on a sampling scheme and a set of rules for making decisions. Double Sampling Plan allows the determination of a sampling plan based on the lot size and levels of risk acceptable to the producer and consumer.
  • Wear-Out Wear-Out Phase is the reliability phase when the failure rate is normally distributed.
  • Weibull Curves The Weibull Curves is a widely used lifetime distributions in reliability engineering. It is a versatile distribution that depends on the shape parameter beta.
  • Accelerated Test Accelerated Testing allow the computation of the overall reliability for a system where there are many components whose failure rates are independent.
  • Failure Pattern Dominant Failure Pattern is a technique for establishing the failure pattern of products. The technique can determine if the product failure pattern is early failure
