Simulation - Circuit Analysis

Consider the electronic control circuit shown below. The purpose of the circuit is to ensure a steady output E0.

E0 depends on the variables a, b, c, d, e, f, g and h as below:


The problem is to identify which component has the largest effect on the variability of E0?

How do we do it? 

It was identified that Z13 accounted for 62% of the variability and Z8 accounted for 10% of the variability.



Our strategy is as follows: 

For a complex function as shown, our strategy is simple. Simply introduce noise about the mean value of each variable. Calculate the mean value of E0 and the associated standard deviation. This information is very useful because it identifies that z13 and z8 account for over 70% of the variability. Thus, only these components need to be upgraded.
